Ingredients

  • selection of thinly sliced salamis (See Recipe Notes for details.)
  • decorations - such as fresh basil, parsley, coriander, spring onions, gherkins, olives

Instructions

  1. Collect some glasses together to make the roses – the larger the diameter of the salami, the larger the size of the glass you will need. As a rough guide, I use glasses which are around ½ – 1 cm smaller across the diameter than the salami. Also remember that the larger the glass, the more salami you will need!

  2. All you need to do is layer the salami over the rim of the glass. Start with one slice and build up until you cannot add any more.

  3. Invert the glass, remove it, and voila – a beautiful salami rose!

  4. Decorate!
