Hot Chilli Honey: deliciously sweet honey, slightly salted and spicy from hot chilli flakes and freshly ground black pepper is an incredibly useful condiment to have in the cupboard at any time of the year and makes a wonderful Christmas gift.
Collect together your equipment (see Recipe Notes below) and ingredients.
Put the honey, chilli flakes, salt and pepper in a saucepan.
Bring to a simmer for 1 minute.
Take off the heat and add the apple cider vinegar.
Allow to cool a little and transfer into a sterilised, heated jam jar with a lid. (See Recipe Notes on how to sterilise the jam jars.)
