Chantilly Cream

Softly whipped, silky, lightly sweetened, fresh, vanilla cream - simple, quick to make and a classic, delicious accompaniment to so many desserts.

Ingredients

  • 250g double/heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Collect together your equipment (see Recipe Notes below) and ingredients.

  2. Measure all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.

  3. Stir to roughly mix.

  4. Beat with an electric whisk until the mixture reaches the soft peaks stage.

  5. The Chantilly cream is now ready to serve.
