Salted Maple Whipped Butter, whipped to light and fluffy and sweetened with your favourite maple syrup and sea salt, this versatile butter has many different uses.
Collect together your equipment (see Recipe Notes below) and ingredients.
It is important to make sure the butter is at room temperature and soft enough to beat easily. See here for information on softening butter.
Whip the butter until it is paler and light and fluffy - this may take a few minutes.
Add the maple syrup and salt and beat again to mix thoroughly.

Ideally use sea salt. If your sea salt is in large grains you may need to add more than ⅛ teaspoon. Add extra according to your taste.
