Chantilly Cream

Softly whipped, silky, lightly sweetened, fresh, vanilla cream – simple, quick to make and a classic, delicious accompaniment to so many desserts.

How to make Chantilly Cream

Collect all your ingredients together:

  • double/heavy cream
  • caster sugar
  • vanilla extract

Now make it!

  1. Measure all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir to roughly mix.
  3. Beat with an electric whisk until the mixture reaches the soft peaks stage.
  4. The Chantilly cream is now ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 250g double/heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Collect together your equipment (see Recipe Notes below) and ingredients.

  2. Measure all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.

  3. Stir to roughly mix.

  4. Beat with an electric whisk until the mixture reaches the soft peaks stage.

  5. The Chantilly cream is now ready to serve.
